The Farm dates back to the 16th Century still retaining many of its original features. Surrounded by farmland the sandstone built stables and storerooms have been converted into 2 self-catering holiday cottages based in Shortgate. Only a 10 minute drive from the County Town of Lewes, East Sussex. These quaint and charming cottages are available for holidays or short term stays.
Shortgate is a tiny hamlet with a handful of houses and farms, yet located within easy reach of Lewes and close to the South Coast & Brighton. One of Englands most delightful & exciting seaside resorts.
Surrounded by fields, the cottages have their own small lake stocked with carp available for fishing.
The lake is a natural haven for wildlife & plays host to a variety of birds throughout the year.
Perfectly suited for all manner of activities, offering an excellent base for a holiday. Whether you prefer country sports, sightseeing or just relaxing in your holiday home we can ensure you’re fully emerged into the relaxation and country atmosphere.
